TL;DR: We collect only what is needed to make the app work. We do not sell your personal data. To support our free tier, we serve optional ads via Google AdMob, which collects device identifiers under strict GDPR/COPPA guidelines if you opt in. Your learning progress stays on your device unless you choose to create an account to sync it.

2. How We Use Your Data

We do NOT sell, trade, or share your data with unauthorized third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Advertising & Tracking Consent

Sprachly shows optional rewarded ads to allow free access to premium lessons. These ads are served by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID or IDFA), hardware specifications, and approximate location data to serve and measure advertisements.

For users located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, **we ask for your explicit opt-in consent** via Google's Consent Management Platform before serving personalized ads. You can manage or withdraw your consent choice at any time within your app settings. For users under 13, personalized ads are disabled entirely by default.

If you are under 13, you must use the app in local-only offline mode without registering an account. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that data immediately.
